ABOUT ME...

A Malaysian born photographer based in Selangor, Malaysia started shooting pictures seriously since year 2000. He was an avid so-called Mountain Biker who loved to take pictures of a mountain bike race (whenever he’s not racing) by using a compact film camera back then.

After “retired” from cycling world and got married to a women of his dream, he started taking pictures for his friends who took part in mountain bike race around the country. Marwan got his first SLR film camera (a Canon EOS 300 and then an EOS 50) in 1999 after knowing and experiencing the limitations that the compact camera has. He immediately took a short course in photography short after. After self learning for a few years, gone through try & error, today this is what he had become now...

Marwan got hooked with horse photography after visiting the equestrian centre near his house in July 2006 until now. Today he proudly owned the biggest equestrian photo gallery in Malaysia, which is MarwanEQ.com.
